Our client was facing a first offense DUI and the loss of his license. He was working as a delivery driver to put himself through college and if his license was suspended, he was going to lose his job. Our firm got involved early and we were able to review the officers body camera. We filed several motions regarding defects in the procedure. As a result of a suppression motion, the government agreed to amend the client’s charge to reckless driving. The client paid $243 in fines and fees and kept this license and his job. He is scheduled to graduate college in May of next year.
