Our client was being investigated for having stolen in excess of $12,000 from his employer, a potential violation of KRS 514.030 and a Class C felony punishable by 5-10 years in prison. We were retained prior to charges being placed, while the investigation was still on going. Based upon our parallel investigation, we were able to exonerate our client, leading to charges being placed on the actual thief. As a result, our client was not charged, did not spend any time in jail, and has no remnants of a criminal record following him around. He even kept his job.
